Buttons & Final Project Requirements

Take out your folder, pen/pencil, and project bag. Read the start-up information and complete your bell ringer.

Objective: I can recall an overcast stitch, running stitch and back stitch. I will be able to complete sewing on a button by the end of class

Agenda:
  1. Review bell ringer 
  2. Thread needles and knot
  3. Review: Overcast stitch 
  4. Complete: Overcast stitch on chart
  5. Demo: How to sew a button
  6. Complete: How to sew a button
  7. Demo/Practice: Different direction stitches and sewing on appliques
  8. Discuss: Project directions, blue print directions, pinning & cutting
Homework: 
  1. Review all stitches for final project
  2. Think about blueprint for Project Pride Pouch
