Decorating Project Pride

Take out your folder, pen/pencil, and project bag. Read the start-up information and complete your bell ringer.

Objective: I can recall how to pin and cut my felt for my final project. I will understand how to decorate my project pride pouch and use time management well

Agenda:
  1. Review bell ringer
  2. Thread needles and knot
  3. Review: Pinning and cutting techniques
  4. Check: Ms. Regalado needs to check your blueprint before decorating!
  5. Discuss: Project directions for second step
  6. Demo: How to begin decorating
  7. Complete: 2nd step of project-- decorate both sides of your pouch with all 3 stitches learned in class, a button and an applique.
  8. Independent Work: You have the rest of the class period to continue decorating-- this step will take you a few days to complete, take your time! (Do NOT start sewing your  two pieces of felt together until you are completely finished decorating and you check in with Ms. R!)
Homework:
  1. Review all stitches for final project
  2. Complete blueprint for Project Pride Pouch
*Due Date: Monday, April 30th!*

Bell ringer: What will be the hardest part about completing this project?

*DO NOT take your bins to your table, just grab your project bag at the start of class everyday*
